In October 2022, Huajin Heavy Equipment Company applied for a casting application project - the application of high-strength wear-resistant alloy ductile iron, which was rated as the "2022 National Foundry Industry Innovation Achievement". The Productivity Promotion Center of the Foundry Industry and the Foundry Branch of the China Society of Mechanical Engineering have launched the "National Foundry Industry Innovation Technology and Product Selection" since 2020 to encourage the continuous development of independent innovation and practical innovation in the national casting industry, effectively promote independent innovation achievements and technologies, enhance core competitiveness of enterprises, and assist in the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of China's casting industry. They recognize and promote innovative technologies and products in the domestic and foreign casting field to the entire industry every year. The selection is based on a comprehensive evaluation of the innovation, social and economic benefits, development prospects, and the role of promoting scientific and technological progress, as well as the intellectual property situation of the applied project's technology and achievements. Finally, 10 independent innovation achievements are selected as the "2022 National Foundry Industry Innovation Achievements".
