The expansion of steel pipes adopts a step-by-step expansion method. Through cold expansion, the tension exceeds the yield limit of the steel pipe, resulting in uniform deformation; The purpose of expanding the diameter is to ensure the accuracy of the inner diameter of the steel pipe while straightening and rounding the entire length of the steel pipe, improving the dimensional accuracy of the steel pipe, and effectively improving the distribution of residual stress during pre bending, forming, and welding of the steel pipe. When expanding the steel pipe, lubricate the inner wall of the steel pipe; The purpose of lubricating the inner wall of steel pipes is to reduce friction between the inner wall of the steel pipe and the expanding tool during the expansion process. Emulsion is used to wet the inner wall of the steel pipe during the expansion process.
After expanding, the inner wall of the steel pipe is flushed again. During the flushing process, the steel pipe is driven by a V-shaped lifting roller to move along the axis. The purpose of post flushing is to clean off residual lubricating oil, emulsion, and oxide scale during expansion.
